Iraqi Ports General Company Discusses With A Chinese Company Opportunities For Port Projects And Al-Faw port

Basra / NINA / -The Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Farhan Al-Fartusi, discussed with representatives of a Chinese company the opportunities for port projects, including the Grand Al-Faw Port projects.

 Al-Fartusi said in a statement: “The Ports Administration is working within one team with the Ministry of Transport to achieve the highest levels of project implementation, based on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani and Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas al-Saadawi regarding the necessity of giving project opportunities in the Grand Faw Port to giant companies that work within global specifications.”

 It is noteworthy that the projects of the Grand Al-Faw Port have achieved advanced completion rates, whether in the work of the five berths or the highway linking the port and the submerged tunnel in the city of Umm Qasr, or in the container handling station or in the navigation channel./ End
