PM Discusses With Senator Lindsey Graham The Government's Vision For The Future Of Relations With The US

Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani met, at his residence in the American capital, Washington, yesterday, Wednesday (Baghdad time), a member of the US Senate, Senator Lindsey Graham, and his accompanying delegation.

 According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office, the meeting witnessed discussion of the government’s vision for the future of relations with the United States of America, and the path to achieving a transition to a bilateral relationship characterized by cooperation and partnership in various fields.

 The meeting also witnessed a review of the situation in the Middle East region, the war in the Gaza Strip, and an emphasis on the need to stop the military escalation and contain the conflict.

 Senator Graham affirmed his appreciation for Iraq's steps and the path of cooperation, partnership, and strategic bilateral relations with the United States of America./End
