Azerbaijan determined to bring “Global North" and "Global South" together during its COP29 presidency

“Azerbaijan is determined to bring the "Global North" and "Global South" together during its COP29 presidency, leveraging its experience from chairing the Non-Aligned Movement,” said Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov as he addressed the 3rd session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Minister Bayramov emphasized that COP29 would serve as a platform for cooperation with Central Asian and Arab countries in alternative energy, climate-focused agriculture, and the study of natural disaster risks.
