Women's Union Members Volunteer to Work at Major Theaters of Socialist Construction

 Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- More than 5 000 women's union officials and members in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK have advanced into major worksites for socialist construction this year.
Women's union officials in Suan, Singye and other counties volunteered to work at various economic sectors.
Women in Songrim, Pongsan, Tosan and other cities and counties joined in the advance for implementing the decisions of the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Women's union members in Sariwon City advanced into the Sariwon School Uniform Factory and other units, and women in Unpha and Yonthan counties volunteered to work at raw material bases for those to-be-built regional-industry factories.
Those in Hwangju, Yonsan and Phyongsan counties settled down in the socialist countryside and are now working hard to bring about a bumper harvest this year. Women's union members in Sungho, Sinphyong and Rinsan counties vowed to work at the rural construction sites and the forestry management units. -0-
