Support to Educational Sector Intensified in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- The support to the educational sector is getting brisk in the DPRK.
This year alone, provinces, cities, counties and many support organizations provided educational units at all levels with modern educational equipment, teaching aids and furnishings, athletic apparatuses and other materials.
Officials of Ryanggang Province supplied schools in the province with thousands of educational equipment, teaching aids and furnishings and experimental apparatuses of over 20 kinds.
Various schools and kindergartens in North Hamgyong Province received computers, liquid crystal TVs and many other information facilities and building materials.
Officials in South Phyongan Province and Nampho Municipality provided regional schools with equipment necessary for education.
Similar activities have been conducted in Haeju of South Hwanghae Province, Singye County of North Hwanghae Province, Jongphyong County of South Hamgyong Province, Kujang County of North Phyongan Province, Songgan County of Jagang Province, Songyo District of Pyongyang and other areas.
Support organizations across the country are making sincere efforts to improve the educational conditions and environment of universities and other schools. -0-
