National Presentation in Sci-tech Information Sector of DPRK

Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- A national presentation in the field of scientific and technological information took place here from May 6 to 8.
The presentation, held on the theme of "Dissemination of science and technology and making all the people well versed in science and technology", aims at sharing and transferring the research achievements made in the work to put data management and information service on an unmanned basis and setting up a perfect information service network across the country.
Attending it, sponsored by the Korean Sci-tech Information Society of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, were scientists, technicians, teachers and postgraduate students of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the State Academy of Sciences, the Sci-Tech Complex, the Central Information Agency for Science and Technology and other relevant units. More than 150 valuable papers were presented.
The participants heard the research successes and experience gained in developing the information technology of the country. -0-
