Raeisi, Aliyev to inaugurate Qiz-Qalasi Dam

TEHRAN, May 18 (MNA) – The presidents of Iran and Azerbaijan are set to inaugurate the Qiz-Qalasi Dam on Sunday.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi is scheduled to pay a one-day visit to Parsabad on Sunday to open the project.

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is also set to attend the opening ceremony.

Located 220km northeast of Tabriz, the Qiz Qalasi Dam has been constructed on the Aras River on the joint borders between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
