Kiev has more than enough grounds to dissolve parlt - Yanukovich.
KIEV, June 29 (Itar-Tass) - The leader of Ukraine's opposition Party
of Regions, Viktor Yanukovich, believes that there are more than enough
grounds for dissolving the parliament.
"The parliament has no coalition. Ministers flee from the government.
They flee from responsibility, while the prime minister has to search for
those to blame for what we have," he told the Inter TV Channel on Sunday.
The opposition leader believes that political forces that form the
parliamentary majority should report on their actions and plans.
"There should be a report from each political force that forms the
coalition. They have to say what they plan to do in the near future,"
Yanukovich said.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said the parliament's
future in the hands of parliamentarians.
"There is the parliamentary coalition, its leader is the country's
prime minister, but there is no majority in the parliament. Such a state
of affairs seriously hampers resolution of very pressing issues, first of
all those pertaining to the budget and economic policy," Yushchenko said.
"The issue of early parliamentary elections will depend on how
parliamentarians will act. This issue is exclusively in the competence of
the parliament," he said.
