Presidents of Mongolia and Belarus Hold Official Talks
Ulaanbaatar, June 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko held official talks at the State Palace of Mongolia on June 3, 2024.
The two sides concurred on the high significance of the State Visit by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Mongolia in developing relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Also, the Presidents noted that the Agreement on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Belarus to be established during the Visit would be a fundamental document for consolidating the legal basis of relations between the two countries and fostering friendly relations.
During the official talks, the two parties discussed the opportunities to cooperate in the implementation of the objectives outlined in “Vision – 2050,” and “New Revival Policy,” Mongolia’s long and mid-term development policies as well as National Campaigns “One Billion Trees,” “A Healthy Mongolian,” and “Food Supply and Security.” The two Heads of State agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in trade, food, agriculture, education, science, and environment.
The two parties expressed confidence that the mutually agreed decisions during the State Visit would be realized for the prosperity of the two countries and the welfare of the people and that Mongolia-Belarus relations and cooperation would be broadened further.
