Presidents of Mongolia and Belarus Plant Trees
Ulaanbaatar, June 5, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko paid a State Visit to Mongolia on June 1-4, 2024.
On June 4, 2024, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President Alexander Lukashenko planted trees at the "Mongol Culture Park" of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar, as a symbol of their contribution to the efforts to overcome global challenges, including climate change and desertification.
During his visit to the National Park, President Lukashenko experienced the nomadic lifestyle and customs, enjoying a mini Naadam Festival along with mounted archery and folk-art performances.
On the second day of the State Visit, the Belarusian President visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia to get acquainted with the history of the Mongol kings and the states, which originated from the first state of nomads Hunnu Empire.
The State Visit of President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko to Mongolia concluded on June 4, 2024. Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik, and other officials saw off President Alexander Lukashenko at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport of Mongolia.
