Steps Taken to Minimize Damage from Disastrous Abnormal Weather

 Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The power transmission and distribution sector in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, concentrates efforts on minimizing damage caused by disastrous abnormal weather.
The city power transmission and distribution station has reinforced the foundations of high-tension towers and poles.
Power transmission and distribution stations in Central District and Moranbong and Tongdaewon districts are striving to ensure the stability of electric power system by readjusting the distribution lines and checking and maintaining their sections as required by technical regulations.
Those in the districts of Hyongjesan and Mangyongdae, too, are directing efforts to minimizing damage. -0-
