Kwangchon Chicken Farm in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The Kwangchon Chicken Farm is flashed into the mind of the DPRK people when they are asked if they know Kwangchon-ri, Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province.
Thanks to the guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un possessed of the noble view on people, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm was successfully built as a new standard for the development of national poultry industry and Kwangchon-ri turned into a place known to the whole country.
The General Secretary personally initiated the construction of the farm and took strong measures for it. One day in July Juche 109 (2020), he gave field guidance to the farm under construction.
He said that the construction of the farm is a project planned and prepared by the Workers' Party of Korea with much effort long ago and that it is greatly expected to be a farm which can substantially contribute to the settlement of the food problem of the people much concerned by the Party.
He stressed the need to realize the automation of all production lines on a high level and thoroughly ensure the quality of construction work. And he expressed expectation and belief that the builders would turn out in the worthwhile construction struggle for realizing the Party's plan to supply more tasty and nutritious meat and eggs to the children and people and successfully build the farm.
As seen above, the Kwangchon Chicken Farm is a wealth of the people provided thanks to his devoted service for the people's wellbeing. It represents the new development of the national poultry industry. -0-
