New Houses Built in South Hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) which is bringing about an epoch-making change in the socialist rural area, the Pumin Farm in the city of Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province in the DPRK has been face-lifted this year, too.
Hundreds of single- and low-storied and terraced dwelling houses are in harmony with the surrounding environment.
New modern villages were full of joy of agricultural workers.
Present at a ceremony for moving into those new houses were Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in Tonghungsan District of the city.
Kim Song Gyu, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory address. Then licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches made.
A congratulatory performance was given and a cheerful dancing party displayed. Officials shared joy with agricultural workers moving into new houses. -0-
