Talks Held between Directors of Prosecutors Offices of DPRK and Russia

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Talks between Kim Chol Won, director of the Central Public Prosecutors Office of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Igor Krasnov, director of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, were held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall here on Monday.
Present there from the DPRK side were Yun Kwang Won, vice-director of the Central Public Prosecutors Office, and officials concerned and from the Russian side were members of the delegation of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.
The talks discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between prosecution organs of the two countries in conformity with the DPRK-Russia relations which have greeted a new turning phase.
Signed after the talks were an agreement on cooperation between the Central Public Prosecutors Office of the DPRK and the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation and a 2024-2026 plan for cooperation between them.
Meanwhile, there was an interview between Choe Kun Yong, president of the Central Court of the DPRK, and Igor Krasnov, director of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, on the same day.
The Central Public Prosecutors Office of the DPRK hosted a reception in welcome of the delegation that evening. -0-
