Enlarged Plenary Meeting of C.C., GFTUK Held

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The eleventh enlarged plenary meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) took place on July 24.
Present there were members and alternate members of the GFTUK Central Committee and, as observers, trade union officials from Pyongyang and provinces.
The enlarged plenary meeting discussed the issue of thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, made a report.
The reporter noted that at the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the scientific guidelines and practical ways for glorifying this year of key importance in implementing the tasks set forth at the Eighth Party Congress as another year of great changes. 
The report said that the GFTUK is faced with the honorable task for ushering in a period of comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism with more significant successes by giving full play to the strong revolutionary spirit and the spirit of steady advance of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class to provide a clear practical guarantee for the fulfillment of the Five-Year Plan.
Analyzing and reviewing in detail the work of the trade union in the first half of the year, it referred to the measures for positively broadening the successes and good experience, thoroughly tackling the deviations and steadily improving and strengthening the work of the trade union, as intended by the Party.
The reporter called on all the trade union officials to powerfully arouse the masses to perform miracles in the vanguard for implementing the Party decisions with the revolutionary work attitude and enterprising work style in order for the trade unions to fulfill their mission and duty.
