National Tangogi Cooking Contest Held

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- A national tangogi cooking contest took place at the Food Festival House in Ryomyong Street here from July 22 to 25 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Korean Association of Cooks.
In the contest, the jury evaluated tangogi soups and other tangogi dishes made by cooks of different units within a set time on the spot.
There was also an experience-sharing meeting with the attendance of cooks from the Pyongyang Tangogi Restaurant and the Kyongsong Tangogi Restaurant of the Kyongsong County Public Catering Establishment in North Hamgyong Province.
Highly appreciated in the contest were the Pyongyang Tangogi Restaurant, the Tangogi Restaurant of the Changgwang Public Service Management Office and the Munhung Tangogi Restaurant under the Taedonggang District Restaurants Management Office.
Diplomas, medals and certificates were awarded to the successful units and cooks. -0-
