President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa Welcomes President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar
Ulaanbaatar, August 20, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of the Republic of Slovenia H.E. Nataša Pirc Musar is paying a State Visit to Mongolia on August 20-21, 2024.
Today, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj welcomed President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar and First Gentleman Aleš Musar at Sukhbaatar Square.
Upon a report of the Commander of the State Honor Guard, the National Anthems of the two countries were performed, and President Nataša Pirc Musar greeted the State Honor Guard of Mongolia.
The two Heads of State greeted the Mongolian and Slovenian state and government officials, and the members of diplomatic corps in Mongolia. Then, the two Presidents paid tribute to the statue of the Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan. Following the Welcoming Ceremony, President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace of Mongolia.
President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President Nataša Pirc Musar will hold official talks and exchange views on expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries and collaborating on achieving sustainable development goals, such as mitigating climate change and desertification, and ensuring gender equality.
During the State Visit, the two sides will sign a Joint Declaration between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia and documents to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation in transport, tourism, and forestry. The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia was celebrated in 2023.
