Winter Wheat Sowing Accelerated in North Phyongan Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Farms in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK step up the winter wheat sowing.
Agricultural workers in Chonma County are carrying out their daily quotas while putting enough humus soil and huminite on farm fields and doing farming work in a scientific and technological way.
Those in Sinuiju City and Yomju and Unsan counties have made seed treatment, drying and disinfection and other preparations in keeping with the expanded area of sowing and applied rational farming methods.
Agricultural workers in Pyokdong and Uiju counties have increased the proportion of mechanization in farming work, thus making good results in wheat sowing.
Similar successes are made in Kusong City and Tongchang and Ryongchon counties. -0-
