Production Lines Improved at Ranam Coal-mining Machine Factory

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Ranam Coal Mining Machine Factory in the DPRK successfully finished the capacity updating of a five-ton electric furnace and a one-ton low-frequency induction furnace. And trial operation of a new alloy steel production line began at the factory. 
This brought about great progress in attaining its goal of maintenance and reinforcement for this year, providing a guarantee for smooth supply of custom-built equipment badly needed to attain the coal production goal set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea.
Officials and workers of the factory are also pushing ahead with the maintenance of a 10-ton electric furnace at the final stage. -0-
