Finance Minister attends Bahrain Banks’ annual reception at IMF, World Bank meetings in Washington

Washington, Oct. 25 (BNA): His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the Bahrain Banks’ annual reception, organised by the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB), which showcased Bahrain’s achievements in finance and strengthened cooperation with international financial institutions.

The reception was attended by Noor bint Ali AlKhulaif, Sustainable Development Minister, and Khalid Humaidan, Central Bank Governor, during the World Bank and IMF meetings in Washington.

The minister highlighted the significant role of Bahrain’s financial and banking sector in driving economic growth and supporting various industries, noting Bahrain's advanced, attractive investment environment.

The annual reception organised by BAB serves as an opportunity to showcase Bahrain's leading role in the financial and banking sector, strengthen cooperation with global financial institutions, and highlight Bahrain’s achievements and progress in this field.
