Al-Sudani And Trump Confirm Desire To Advance Strategic Partnership Between The Two Countries

Baghdad / NINA / - Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and US President-elect Donald Trump stressed the desire to proceed with the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement: "Al-Sudani held telephone talks with US President-elect Donald Trump, in which he expressed his congratulations to the US President on winning the elections, and the great confidence that the American people have given him."

The statement added: "The two sides stressed the desire to proceed with the strategic partnership between the two countries and strengthen bilateral relations in ways that go beyond the security aspect, through close cooperation in the fields of economy, finance, energy, and technology."

Trump expressed his desire to work positively with Al-Sudani and meet him soon to expand relations. The two sides also agreed to coordinate together to end wars in the region. / End
