Ceremony of Awarding Communist Mother Honor Prize Held in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- The Communist Mother Honor Prize was conferred on women who made contributions to firmly carrying forward the tradition of revolution and succession while invariably taking the road of devotion for their families and younger generation and for the prosperity of the country.
Present at the awarding ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, department director of the C.C., WPK, Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials of the women's union and exemplary women's union members.
Ri Il Hwan made an awarding address and a certificate of the Communist Mother Honor Prize, certificate of gift and gold ring were conferred on 21 mothers.
Then followed a congratulatory speech and an oath-taking speech. -0-
