Mothers Lead Worthwhile Life in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- November 16 is Mother's Day in the DPRK.
On this occasion, tens of millions of children of the DPRK are extending warm congratulations and thanks to their mothers who have devoted their warm love and affection to their families and society.
Mothers have led a worthwhile life as heroines of the country and meritorious persons of socialist patriotism decade after decade under the care of the peerlessly great men.
President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il opened up a noble world of prioritizing and respecting women and led them to fulfill their responsibility and duty in the education of their children and socialist construction all their lives.
Now, mothers are leading a more brilliant life, blessed by the times, under the loving care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
The respected General Secretary saw to it that November 16 was instituted as Mother's Day and the Fourth National Conference of Mothers was held on the occasion of the first Mother's Day. It is the day when the President made a speech "The Duty of Mothers in the Education of Children" at the First National Conference of Mothers.
