Saudi Arabia to Host 2025 Asian Lacrosse Games

Riyadh, November 21, 2024, SPA -- The Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union (APLU) has announced that Saudi Arabia will host the second Asian Lacrosse Games, set to be held from September 29 to October 6, 2025.
Since its establishment in 2019, the Saudi Lacrosse Federation has been dedicated to advancing the sport through workshops, club development, and participation in global competitions. Securing the opportunity to host the games signifies progress in cultivating a lacrosse culture in the Kingdom, aligning with Vision 2030, which aims to enhance sports development and foster international cooperation. This decision also underscores APLU’s confidence in Saudi Arabia’s capability to hold this event successfully.
Saudi Arabia’s women’s lacrosse team won the 2024 Asian Lacrosse Games, which were held in Uzbekistan.
