State Minister for Foreign Affairs Meets with EU Political and Security Committee Members

Riyadh, November 24, 2024, SPA -- Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, met on Sunday at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh with members of the European Union's Political and Security Committee, led by the committee's chair, Delphine Pronk, and attended by the EU Special Representative for the Gulf region, Luigi Di Maio.
   During the meeting, Al-Jubeir reviewed the Kingdom's foreign policy and its positions on various regional and international issues, highlighting its efforts to promote regional and global security and peace. He also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Kingdom and the EU with the committee in various fields, including environmental and climate change initiatives.
   The meeting was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to the EU and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom), Haifa bint Abdurrahman Al-Jedea, and the EU Ambassador to the Kingdom, Christophe Farnaud.
