PM to Jordanian King: Security and Stability in Syria Are of Uncompromising Importance

Baghdad /NINA/ -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed today, Sunday, that Security and stability in Syria are of uncompromising importance.

His office stated in a statement that "al-Sudani made a phone call today with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region, especially the events in Syria, and the continuation of the Zionist aggression against our people in Gaza." 

Al-Sudani stressed "the need to coordinate efforts and support Iraq for joint Arab and international action to confront challenges." 

He pointed out that "security and stability in Syria are of an importance that cannot be underestimated, not only for Iraq but for all countries in the region," stressing "the need to work to stop the Zionist aggression and the war of genocide that our steadfast Palestinian people are facing." /End
