Health Minister Begins Visit to China to Boost Cooperation in Health Sector
Riyadh, December 01, 2024, SPA -- Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel today began an official visit to China aimed at enhancing cooperation in the health sector between the two countries. The visit seeks to contribute to sustainable health welfare and reinforce the Kingdom's status as a leader in health innovation and transformation, aligned with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program of Saudi Vision 2030.
During the visit, Minister Al-Jalajel is scheduled to meet with senior officials from China's health sector, as well as a distinguished group of executives in biotechnology, digital health, and research and development. He will also engage with members of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council to explore future partnership opportunities in healthcare. The meetings will focus on shared priorities in fostering innovation in healthcare and forming strategic partnerships that drive investment, stimulate economic growth, and achieve sustainable development in this vital sector.
