Baghdad /NINA/-Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein stressed that political solutions that take into account the interests of the Syrian people are the best way to end the crisis.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Hussein received the French Ambassador Patrick Dorrell and the British Ambassador Stephen Hitchcock, each separately, in Baghdad.
During the two meetings, according to the statement, the latest developments in Syria were discussed, as the minister affirmed Iraq's position in support of stability in the region, stressing the importance of international coordination to address common challenges.
Fuad Hussein pointed out the rejection of undermining security and stability in the region, stressing that political solutions that take into account the interests of the Syrian people are the best way to end the crisis. /End
