Foreign media representatives visit AZERTAC as part of "Media Literacy" Week

A group of media representatives visiting Azerbaijan as part of the "Media Literacy" Week visited on Monday AZERTAC.
They first reviewed the photos of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev, and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attending various media events, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s nationwide addresses during the Patriotic War, visits to liberated districts, as well as some of the technical equipment used by AZERTAC at different times.
The participants got acquainted with the memorial corner of the martyred journalist of AZERTAC, Maharram Ibrahimov. They were briefed about the journalist's life path.
The media representatives were informed that AZERTAC news agency wires news in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German, French, Arabic, Chinese and Spanish, also posting photo and video news on its information resources. They found out that the organization has correspondent bureaus in 23 countries.
Since its initial news release on March 2, 1920, AZERTAC has joined 11 regional and international media organizations.
AZERTAC is a member of the News Agencies World Council, the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA), the Organization of Asian and Pacific News Agencies (OANA), the Organization of Islamic News Agencies (UNA-OIC) and other international information platforms.
