WAMY Commends Saudi Efforts, KSAA Initiatives on World Arabic Language Day

Riyadh, December 18, 2024, SPA -- On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, observed annually on December 18, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) commended the efforts made by the Kingdom to promote the Arabic language among young people.
   WAMY also hailed the launch of various innovative initiatives aimed at preserving and protecting the Arabic identity, promoting its development across various fields, and elevating its status at all levels.
   WAMY highlighted the pioneering role of the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSAA) in serving the Arabic language through organizing conferences, seminars, and launching initiatives, as well as offering awards to encourage students and researchers. WAMY noted that these efforts actively contribute to supporting, developing, and spreading the Arabic language as an integral part of their cultural identity.
   Furthermore, WAMY emphasized its programs designed to promote the Arabic language, particularly through courses, seminars, and lectures aimed at training researchers and learners, especially non-native speakers.
   It also reaffirmed its commitment to equipping centers, universities, and Arabic language departments with Arabic libraries and computer systems to facilitate research and support students and learners in their academic endeavors.
