Deputised by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah attends Qatari National Day celebration
Manama, Dec. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, deputised Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, to attend the reception hosted by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Kingdom of Bahrain to celebrate Qatar’s National Day.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah was received by Sultan bin Ali Al Khater, Qatari Ambassador to Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid conveyed the greetings and congratulations of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Amir; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as to the people of Qatar.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Qatar, which continue to develop under both countries’ leaderships. He noted the steady progress in cooperation across various sectors, reflecting the shared aspirations of both nations to enhance bilateral relations.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to building on its relationship with Qatar to foster closer collaboration and stronger ties, supporting the ambitions of both nations and their peoples.
On his part, the ambassador expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad and His Highness Sheikh Tamim for their support in advancing ties between the two nations. He commended Bahrain’s efforts to strengthen collaboration and noted the support of His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister to fostering joint initiatives.
Ambassador Al Khater also praised the strong ties between the peoples of Bahrain and Qatar, appreciating Bahrain’s gesture in marking Qatar’s National Day and wishing Bahrain continued success and progress.
