MOSCOW, July 6 (Itar-Tass) - Russia has appealed to its North Korean
partners urging them not to undertake any more acts that might worsen the
already difficult situation in the region.

"We have not left unnoticed a series of missile launchings undertaken
in North Korea in recent days," said spokesman for the Russian Foreign
Ministry Andrei Nesterenko on Monday. The fact that a country - a UN
member state, violates resolution 1874 of the UN Security Council, does
not heed the voice of the international community, including states with
which North Korea has traditionally good relations, arouses deep regret,"
Nesterenko said.
"We appeal to our North Korean partners, urging them not to undertake
any more acts that are worsening the already difficult situation in the
region and call on them to return to the negotiating table," the Russian
diplomat said.
We are counting on maximum restraint of the interested sides.
"Security in Northeast Asia should and must be reliably ensured by
political and diplomatic means", Nesterenko said,
