Calcination-Sulfuric Acid Line Updated at Munphyong Smeltery
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The project for modernizing the calcination-sulfuric acid line of the Munphyong Smeltery in the DPRK has been completed.
The line has been updated to lay a foundation for making a great stride in the development of the country's economy and the improvement of the people's living standards.
An inauguration ceremony took place at the smeltery on Dec. 19.
Present there were Yang Sung Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Sang Do, minister of Mining Industry, Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Mun Jin, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials concerned, officials and researchers of the units that contributed to the construction, and employees of the smeltery.
