Laos will be the host of CONFEMEN
(KPL) The Ministry of Education of Laos will be the host of the 54th Session of the Conference of Ministries of Education of French-Speaking Countries (CONFEMEN) between 6 to 9 July in Vientiane.
The CONFEMEN Organisation was established in 1960, with the main objective is to promote education, technical training and vocational skills to its member countries include Laos.
It expected over 70 senior officials from four coordinating countries and representatives from the CONFEMEN taking part at the event.
During the meeting, Lao Government will have an opportunity to propose its effort in the education development system and the role and policies of government on education through different agreements.
Concerning this matter, the Lao Ministry of Education organized a discussion to prepare for being the host of CONFEMEN, on 30 June, at the Ministry of Education.
