Supported by KSrelief, Prosthetics Center in Hadhramaut, Yemen, Provides Services to 523 Beneficiaries

Hadhramaut, January 18, 2025, SPA -- The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the Seiyun district of Yemen's Hadhramaut governorate provided various medical services in December 2024 to 523 Yemenis who lost limbs, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The project delivered a total of 1,738 services, with males comprising 55% of the beneficiaries and females 45%. Among the beneficiaries, 21% were displaced individuals, while 79% were residents. Services included the fitting and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy, and specialized consultations.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to enhance the healthcare sector's capabilities and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
