Al-Mashhadani From Tehran: Iran Is A Strong Supporter Of Iraq And We Always Benefit From Its Advice

Baghdad /NINA/ -Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani stressed: "Iraq has always considered Iran a strong supporter in many stages, especially during the period of the terrorist ISIS attack." 

According to the Iranian Mehr News Agency, the Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Haji Babaei stressed during his reception of al-Mashhadani: "Iraq is an important country for Iran and the countries of the axis of resistance." 

He added: "We must stand in one line and walk side by side to preserve the interests of our people." 

For his part, al-Mashhadani said during the meeting: "Iran is a neighboring and dear country for us, and there were common interests between the two countries, and Iraq has always considered the Islamic Republic of Iran a very strong supporter in many stages, especially during the period of the ISIS attack." 

 He referred to the good relations between the two countries, saying: "We have always benefited from Iran's advice and opinions, especially at a time when the countries of the region are experiencing special circumstances, and we need more solidarity. For this reason, we consider this visit to be fraternal first, and then it aims to discuss common goals and special circumstances of the countries of the region, especially the people of Gaza. From this standpoint, we hope that it will be a successful visit." 

Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani arrived in Tehran yesterday, Sunday, on an official visit. / End
