Riyadh to Host 8th General Conference of Arab Union of Electricity on February 11-13

Riyadh, February 09, 2025, SPA -- Riyadh is set to host the 8th General Conference of the Arab Union of Electricity from February 11 to 13, gathering 1,000 experts in electrical energy production, transmission, distribution, and manufacturing, along with 150 CEOs from electrical service companies, institutions, and organizations, as well as pioneers in modern technologies and global electrical equipment manufacturers.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Energy and co-organized by the Arab Union of Electricity and the Saudi Electricity Company, the conference will feature various panel discussions led by keynote speakers. The discussions will cover topics such as integrating renewable energy into the Arab world's electricity systems, regional efforts to combat climate change and its impact on electrical grids, policies and legislation for electrical interconnection among Arab countries, as well as innovations, AI, and big data management within the electricity sector.
The conference, held in Saudi Arabia for the first time, aims to promote the exchange of expertise, tackle the challenges facing the electricity industry in Arab countries, and strengthen collaboration among agencies, organizations, and service providers. The goal is to foster the creation of new opportunities for strategic partnerships and alliances, ultimately advancing electrical services across the Arab world.
