PM Receives in Munich the Executive Director of the UNODC

Baghdad / NINA / -Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received, at his residence today, Friday, the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC), Ghada Wali, on the sidelines of his participation in the 61st Munich Security Conference.

Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office, the importance of coordination between countries regarding this dangerous file, and Iraq's readiness to cooperate with all organizations and institutions concerned with confronting the dangers of drugs and cross-border crimes, expressing the provision of all facilities for opening a regional headquarters for the office in Iraq.

For her part, Ghada Wali praised what Iraq has achieved in the field of combating drugs and organized crime, and expressed the office's readiness to cooperate with Iraq in this field and open a regional headquarters for it in Baghdad./End
