Global Media Outlets Provide Extensive Coverage of HH the Amir's Visit to Tehran

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - Numerous international media accorded substantial coverage to the visit of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to Iran, on Wednesday, through dedicating diverse press coverages and reports.
Accordingly, those media outlets hosted political analysts and writers to comment on this visit, in terms of its timing, the issues raised thereon, in addition to the bilateral talks between HH the Amir and HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
International media outlets prepared reports following this visit, including the BBC Arabic, with a report highlighting that the Iranian President lauded the State of Qatar's role in reaching the Gaza ceasefire deal, along with the joint press conference between HH the Amir and the Iranian President.
The two sides discussed the current issues in the region, and underscored the importance of respecting the choices of the people of Syria, with HH the Amir welcoming the Iranian President's aspiration to forge a constructive relationship with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, the BBC report pointed out, stressing that halting the war in Gaza and delivering aid were the foremost issues the two sides discussed.
The Arabic version of France 24 reported that HH the Amir paid a striking visit to Tehran during which he met with the Iranian President, highlighting that the joint press conference they held stressed their commitment to stopping the war in Gaza and the importance of constructive dialogue to resolve the conflict.
The aired France 24's report added that the Iranian President thanked HH the Amir for the State of Qatar's efforts that culminated in reaching the Gaza ceasefire, stressing the importance of the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.
One of France 24's correspondents in Tehran stated that the Iranian President provided a readout encapsulating the significance of HH the Amir's visit by underlining that Iran's key and general policy is based on strengthening political, economic, cultural and military relationship in the region, with the State of Qatar being a friendly nation that receives a special interest in this field.
Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), on the other hand, reported that during the joint press conference HH the Amir and the Iranian President underscored the importance of adherence to the Gaza ceasefire deal and a surge of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
