Al-Sudani Discusses With Iranian Interior Minister Measures to Facilitate the Entry of Iranian Visitors to the Holy Shrines in Iraq

Baghdad /NINA/ - Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iskandar Momeni, the procedures to facilitate the entry of Iranian visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq.
The Prime Minister's Office stated in a statement: "During the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral relations and issues of common interest, including the security of the common borders in light of the signed agreements, as well as cooperation in the field of combating drug smuggling and border control, and coordination in the work of border crossings to achieve security and stability."
The two sides discussed the procedures to facilitate the entry of Iranian visitors to the holy shrines in Iraq.
The two sides also stressed the activation of the memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi and Iranian Ministries of Interior regarding the mutual recognition of driving licenses between the two countries./End
