Royal Court mourns HH Pope Francis

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): By order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Royal Court mourns His Holiness Pope Francis, who passed away after a life dedicated to serving humanity and promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

The statement said that the Kingdom of Bahrain stood with the Vatican during this time. It recounted the close relationship between His Majesty the King and His Holiness. This is in addition to the significant role Pope Francis played in fostering dialogue, coexistence, and human fraternity, promoting tolerance among people of all backgrounds, and advocating for just causes while rejecting conflict and war. The statement said that His Holiness earned the respect and appreciation of people across the world.

The Kingdom of Bahrain extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the Vatican, the statement concluded.
