Kyrgyz President receives Shura Chairman

Manama, Apr. 21 (BNA): His Excellency Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic received Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, during his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The visit included a bilateral meeting with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
HE President Japarov highlighted the strength of Kyrgyz-Bahraini relations and the growing cooperation between the two countries across various domains in support of shared interests.
HE President Japarov also commended the Kingdom of Bahrain’s ongoing development and the efforts led by His Majesty the King to promote peace, dialogue, and coexistence, and to advance initiatives that contribute to global security and stability.
HE President Japarov expressed his commitment to deepen cooperation with the Kingdom, particularly in economic, trade, and tourism sectors. His Excellency extended an official invitation to the Shura Council Chairman to visit the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Shura Council Chairman welcomed the visit of HE President Japarov, noting its importance in enhancing bilateral ties and offering an opportunity to discuss regional and international developments, as well as means to further develop mutual cooperation and understanding.
He emphasised the council’s commitment to enhancing parliamentary cooperation with the Kyrgyz Supreme Council and coordinating positions on key regional and international issues within parliamentary forums.
The Chairman also noted the active diplomatic consultations between the two countries, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing long-standing relations.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council; Dr. Mohammed Ali Hassan Ali, Chairman of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee; Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kyrgyz Republic, residing in Beijing; and Dr. Fawzia Yousif Al Jeeb, Advisor to the Chairman.
