HM King receives credentials of 19 new ambassadors to the Kingdom

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of 19 newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain, during a formal ceremony held at Sakhir Palace.
His Majesty received the credentials of the following ambassadors:
- Liselotte Plenser, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark
- Rudolf Michalka, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic
- Hassan Saleh Al Gadam Al Djinedi, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad
- Sergelen Purev, Ambassador of Mongolia
- Jean-Philippe Lintau, Ambassador of Canada
- Pavel Kafka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic
- Taran Spencer Mackey, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas
- Orazmuhammet Charriyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan
- Fredrik Florén, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden
- Sekou Cherifke Camara, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea
- Gervais Michel Moumou, Ambassador of the Republic of Seychelles
- Maria Belovas, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia
- Dana Goldfinca, Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia
- Yacoub Mohammed, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania
- Mogobo David Magabe, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa
- Manuel Hernandez Gamallo, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain
- Karimi Akram, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan
- Jorge Rafael Archila Ruiz, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala
- Anatolie Vangheli, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova
His Majesty delivered a speech in which he welcomed the ambassadors to Bahrain, emphasising the Kingdom’s appreciation for its strong relations with their countries. His Majesty wished the ambassadors success in their new roles, highlighting the Kingdom's full support in fostering closer cooperation and shared interests.
His Majesty also requested that they convey his personal greetings to the heads of state of their countries.
His Majesty emphasised the openness of the Foreign Minister to diplomatic engagement and that it would always be willing to listen to their ideas and suggestions, and highlighted Bahrain’s view of its diplomatic partners as close friends and allies. In light of current global challenges, His Majesty noted that the real measure of success lies in sustaining the nation’s progress. He praised the dedication and achievements of the Bahraini people, expressing confidence that with their efforts and support of friends and allies, Bahrain would continue to move forward and reach new milestones.
Furthermore, His Majesty the King spoke on the passing of His Holiness the Pope of the Vatican, who he described as a dear friend to the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Majesty recalled the Pope’s historic visit to Bahrain, emphasising that Bahrain is a country of tolerance for all religions an approach the late Pope personally supported. His Majesty expressed deep appreciation for the late Pope’s efforts to promote understanding and harmony around the world.
His Majesty noted that the Royal Court had issued an official statement of condolence, expressing Bahrain’s appreciation for the Pope’s efforts to promote peace, a cause to which His Holiness was always committed. His Majesty expressed hope that the late Pope's legacy would continue through his successor.
The ambassadors conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of their heads of state, along with their best wishes for His Majesty and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. They praised the strong bilateral relations between their countries and Bahrain across various sectors.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs; Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, Chief of Protocol of the Royal Court, attended the ceremony.
The newly appointed ambassadors were received upon arrival at Sakhir Palace by the Chief of Royal Protocol. The ceremony concluded with the playing of the national anthem.
