HM King ratifies, issues Law (16) of 2025 following approval by Shura Council and Council of Representatives

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (16) of 2025 approving the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the States of Guernsey on the elimination of double taxation concerning income taxes and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance, following its approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.

According to the law, the agreement was signed in Manama on September 29, 2024.

The Prime Minister and ministers, each within their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this Law, which shall come into effect on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
