Foreign Minister receives Executive Director of IISS–Middle East

Manama, Apr. 27 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received retired Air Vice-Marshal Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies – Middle East (IISS–Middle East).

The meeting discussed aspects of the existing cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the IISS–Middle East, and means to further develop them in the domains of research, studies, and the organisation of conferences and forums to serve mutual interests and aspirations. A number of issues of common interest were also reviewed.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Nancy Abdulla Jamal, Chief of the Strategic Affairs Sector; and Ambassador Saeed Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Director of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
