HM King receives Cypriot Foreign Minister

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, at Al Safriya Palace, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Majesty commended the close bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus, highlighting their continued development and growth across various fields.
Dr. Kombos conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Excellency President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus to His Majesty and the people of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. In return, His Majesty relayed his greetings and best wishes to HE the President and the people of Cyprus for continued growth and success.
His Majesty and the Cypriot Foreign Minister discussed means to strengthen and expand the longstanding relations between the two countries, particularly in economic, commercial, and investment sectors. His Majesty emphasised the importance of such visits in reflecting the mutual keenness to advance joint cooperation and explore broader prospects for partnership in support of shared interests.
The meeting also addressed current regional and international issues of common concern.
On his part, Dr. Kombos expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm welcome and hospitality, commending His Majesty’s efforts to strengthen the historical ties between Bahrain and Cyprus and enhance cooperation across all fields.
