KSrelief Concludes Saudi Noor Program to Combat Blindness in Tanzania

      Zanzibar, May 9, 2025, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded the Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to combat blindness and its causes in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The program was conducted from April 29 to May 6.
   During the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team examined 3,005 cases, distributed 426 pairs of eyeglasses, dispensed medication to 1,184 patients, and performed 154 successful surgeries.
   The initiative is part of the volunteer medical projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to alleviate the suffering of patients with eye diseases from low-income groups worldwide.
