Saudi Arabia Awards 18 Prizes to Global Innovators at ISEF 2025

Columbus, May 16, 2025, SPA -- Representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) presented 18 special awards to outstanding projects at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2025), held in Columbus, the US state of Ohio, from May 10 to 16.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to fostering talent and innovation. Since 2010, Mawhiba has consistently presented special awards at ISEF, recognizing excellence in various scientific fields that align with the Kingdom’s strategic priorities and strengthen its presence on international scientific platforms.
During a special awards ceremony, Mawhiba announced the 2025 award package, which included 12 full undergraduate scholarships to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and six scholarships for the Mawhiba Universal Enrichment Program.
ISEF is the world’s largest pre-university science competition, judged by international experts and providing students with a global platform to showcase their innovations.
Saudi Arabia, through Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education, has participated annually in ISEF since 2007. This year’s delegation includes 40 students competing alongside more than 1,700 participants from 70 countries.
