House Speaker Discusses with Qatari PM Relations Between the Two Countries and Ways to Strengthen Them

Baghdad/NINA/- Speaker of the House of Representatives Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani discussed with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

Qatar News Agency reported: "Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq, on Monday, who is currently visiting the country."

During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, in addition to a number of topics of common concerns.

Al-Mashhadani arrived in Qatar yesterday, Monday, on an official visit. He was received by the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim; Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Chairman of the Qatari-Iraqi Friendship Group, a number of officials, and members of the Iraqi embassy. / End
