The University Of Baghdad Discusses Enhancing Cooperation In Digital Transformation With A Delegation From The Lithuanian OSMOS Organization

Baghdad/NINA/-The University of Baghdad met with a delegation from the Lithuanian OSMOS Global Partnerships to discuss enhancing academic and institutional cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and innovation.

The university stated in a statement: "The university met with the delegation in the presence of the Prime Minister's Advisor for Digital Transformation, Hassan Al-Khatib. This visit comes within the framework of a project that seeks to build strategic partnerships between Iraq and Lithuania in the field of the digital economy and empower young technical talent in Iraq."

It added: "The Lithuanian delegation included a group of researchers and advisors from OSMOS. A meeting was held to discuss ways of cooperation in the fields of computer science, data, and artificial intelligence. Opportunities for knowledge exchange in digital education, joint training programs, and academic exchanges for students and faculty members were also addressed."

It continued: "This visit comes as part of the efforts of the University of Baghdad and OSMOS to lay the foundation for a long-term cooperation that contributes to developing digital capabilities, promoting innovation, enabling Iraqi youth to access international training and job opportunities in modern technology, and establishing tangible academic and institutional partnerships that contribute to the growth of the digital economy in Iraq."

It pointed out that: "Digital transformation achieves sustainable development goals in various fields, gives importance to all development goals without discrimination, addresses all structural challenges, and focuses on raising the level of human development in its various aspects." /End
